Dr Yung is a Senior Family Physician who
has been in private practice for more than
16 years, after working in various government
hospitals and polyclinics. A Family Physician
is a doctor who aims to treat her patients
holistically, in the context of the family
and community that they live and work in.
Dr Yung has wide-ranging experience, having
worked in residential, industrial and city
practices.
She has a Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology
from the National University of Singapore.
It was from her special interest in Dermatology
that she developed her aesthetic practice.
Atria Aesthetics focuses on treating problems
like acne, pigmentation and wrinkles as
well as improving the look of the skin
through hair removal, skin tightening
and skin rejuvenation procedures.
Dr Yung uses Lasers, Radiofrequency, Botox, fillers, cosmeceuticals, and other technologies in her practice.
Dr Yung joined Pacific Healthcare in Oct
2006 and her clinic is conveniently located
in Wisma Atria, the heart of Singapore's
shopping district.
Besides aesthetic services, Dr Yung provides consultations to both adults and children for all general medical conditions. She provides long-term care for medical problems like diabetes, hyperlipidaemia and hypertension.
She also consults for breastfeeding problems, having received her International Board of Lactation Consultant Certificate in 1993. She gives talks regularly on breastfeeding and is a member of the Association of Breastfeeding Advocacy Singapore (ABAS). She has given talks and training under ABAS. Dr Yung is also on the panel of doctors of the Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group Singapore.
